Forthcoming Employment Law Workshops

3rd March 2010: Absence Management and Ill Health Dismissal. This free workshop will examine: Managing Absenteeism, Absence as a Fair Reason for Dismissal, Casual Absence and Disciplinary Action, Medical Evidence and Disability Discrimination.

24th March 2010: Common Employment Law Issues in the Hospitality Trade. This free workshop is aimed at Restaurateurs, Hoteliers, Public House Landlords and Cafe Bar owners and will provide practical examples of issues concerning: the Working Time Regulations, Minimum Wage & Tips, Disciplinary & Dismissal, Policies and Procedures and Absenteeism.

14th April 2010: Using Social Media in Business. We will highlight the benefits of using social media in business. This will be followed by an outline of the pitfalls which may occur in an Employment Law Context.

19th May 2010: Dealing with Thefts & Absenteeism in the Workplace - First we will look at ways of gathering evidence of theft and absenteeism. We will then look at the relevant disciplinary procedures.

2nd June 2010: Health & Wellbeing for your Business. Ensure that you attract the best candidates and retain them, reduce absenteeism and consider how you can improve your employees' work/life balance.
