Matt Shakesheff, Commercial Assistant
Matt is our Trainee Solicitor and carries out work for our Commercial and Employment Solicitors. Matt specialises in Partnership Agreements, Directors' Services Contracts, Contracts of Employment and Employee Policies.
Matt grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon where he attended Warwick School before completing a degree in Economics at Kingston University. Wanting to remain in London, Matt was accepted on a Graduate Training Scheme with Mercedes Benz, with whom he worked for 10 years, eventually taking control of a number of retail sites throughout the Midlands.
Deciding on a career change, Matt went back to University and completed his Law Degree at De Montfort University before completing his Legal Practice Qualification at the Leicester Institute of Legal Practice. Matt worked as a Legal Officer for Stratford District Council before joining De Marco Solicitors.
Matt enjoys all sports, particularly Rugby having played to a representative level and can be often found entertaining friends at Twickenham on International weekends. Matt also enjoys spending time with his daughter and his Black Lab, Tilly.
