Meet our team of Employment Law Solicitors:
Sandra Garlick, Partner
Sandra is our Employment & Business Affairs Solicitor. Sandra advises businesses about employment law issues, trading terms and conditions and credit control, specialising in business start up. Sandra also undertakes the firm's business development and is presently promoting De Marco Hunter Solicitors using social media.
Sandra grew up in Coventry and attended Barr's Hill Girls Grammar School. She studied law as a mature student at the University of Warwick following a previous career in estate agency and banking. She was sponsored by DLA to undertake her post graduate studies in Nottingham and went on to train with DLA in Birmingham. Sandra is the founding Partner of De Marco Hunter Solicitors.
Sandra is passionate about shoes, red wine and holidays. When she isn't working she can be found walking her Airedales, Brinkley & Megan, photographing her shoe collection for her online shoe catalogue or planning one of her Italian getaways.
Sandra is an avid Coventry City supporter and has been since she first attended Highfield Road with her father as a teenager. She has Premier Club tickets and is often in the Yorkshire Bank Lounge before and after the home games.
Lianne Payne, Partner
Lianne is our Specialist Employment Law Solicitor and is the Head of Employment Law at De Marco Hunter Solicitors. Lianne advises the firm's business clients on all aspects of employment law with particular emphasis on conduct and capability dismissals, ill health, compromise agreements, restrictive covenants, disability discrimination, contracts of employment and policies and procedures.
Lianne grew up in Coventry and attended Finham Park School. She studied law and criminology at Keele University and carried out her post graduate studies in Bristol. Lianne trained with Penmans Solicitors in Coventry.
Lianne is passionate about sport, Roald Dahl books, Christmas and her two cats Delilah and Iorek Byrnison. When she isn't working she can be found teaching taekwondo, playing numerous netball matches or listening to Christmas music or Roald Dahl CDs in her car! Lianne also has a keen interest in property development.
Meet our Secretary:
Yvonne Anderson
Yvonne is the firm's secretary and plays a vital role in the Employment Law team. She has extensive experience of working in legal practices throughout Coventry & Warwickshire and has been with the firm since its begininning. Yvonne is familiar with all the cases the firm handles and will always ensure that client messages are passed straight to one of our Employment Law solicitors.
Yvonne has flexible working and also works from home several days a week, which fits in well with her lifestyle, family commitments and her numerous holidays and weekend breaks! In fact, Yvonne is always planning a holiday.
