History Of De Marco Solicitors
De Marco Solicitors was established in July 2007 by Sandra Garlick as a Sole Practitioner. 
Sandra was joined by Lianne Payne, a specialist Employment Law Solicitor, and the practice became a Partnership and traded as De Marco Hunter Solicitors. The firm grew rapidly by word of mouth referral and moved from Sandra’s spare bedroom to office premises at ‘Number Three’ in Baginton, Coventry in October 2007.
Yvonne Anderson joined the team as a legal secretary and this formed the basis of De Marco Hunter Solicitors’ team. In November 2010 Lianne relinquished her partnership responsibility but continues to advise the firm's clients on Employment Law matters. Sandra is now trading as the Principal of the firm, De Marco Solicitors has made a series of new appointments during 2011 and 2012.
The firm specialises in UK Employment Law and also advises on Business Law matters. We work closely with other Coventry & Warwickshire solicitors’ firms and refer work to specialist solicitors in the areas of law outside of our expertise.
Where does the name come from? Sandra is often asked this question. "De Marco" is Sandra's Italian family name and as Sandra has a passion for her Italian roots this seemed an obvious choice. De Marco Hunter Solicitors quickly became an established name in Coventry & Warwickshire. The firm has now re-branded and changed its name to De Marco Solicitors with effect from 3rd October 2011. Sandra has now joined forces with David Lee and launched a second firm, De Marco Family Law Solicitors.
